    Bloggergate: Kuhlman-Hornback lawsuit
Over to KnoxViews the former Blab's own Barker is affirming that Kuhlman is a public figure, which, duh.

Unrelated to the specifics of the case, but previously Hornback was a public figure in the same public political configuration Kuhlman is now figuring in, but he now spends much time figuring how to disfigure the local county GOP's public figures, much to their discomfiture. But could an enterprising attorney figure out how to figure Hornback's persistent disfigurement of the party's public figures as a vendetta or other figment, such that a case of consistent fixation on these figures could be made?

    Dunno? Figures.

But, you know, the county mayor prefers to leave management of the county to those who can manage...
That's a shame. Hemal is one of the good guys in my experience.

The Blab returns from the dead, like Jason, Freddy, Michael Myers or Britney Spears. And so do TN GOP desires to thrust Tennessee back into the 19th century! What is it with these creeps, anyway?

If these county offices are going to be independent fiefdoms, flouting respect for individual liberties, they should at least entertain their subjects. And finally, once again, one is, albeit at the expense of some subjects' aforementioned individual liberties:

The good news: Early voting totals for Knoxville's general election are about 45% higher than that of the primary.

The bad news: Our turnout still sucks.

Final numbers in: Only 1,307 early-vote in city election
