Organic is great 'n' all but buy local. Local organic if you can but first and foremost buy local:

And if you buy local, from a non-factory-farmer, this isn't really a worry since small farmers aren't as juicy a target for terrorists as farm that grows stuff that gets mass marketed.

Once again, you can buy locally grown food from small scale local farmers every Wednesday from 11A-2P and every Saturday from 9A-1P ;~)
