Thread: Days of appreciation

    Default Days of appreciation

Just so you know - and JJJ is probably throwing one heckuva shindig at his swingin' bachelor pad - it's Squirrel Appreciation today, Jan. 21.

It's also National Hug Day, so if you have a special rodent you've been meaning to show you appreciation to, hug that bad baby, baby!

Today (Jan. 23) is Pie Day, and, somewhat contradictorily, Women's Healthy Weight Day, plus Measure Your Feet Day, and, incongruously, Handwriting Day.

heh, seems a bit odd to appreciate squirrels when they are hibernating and therefore not around, but then maybe that is the real point of the appreciation.

Squirrels would probably appreciate that today is National Chocolate Cake Day and Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day.

then something is keeping them awake if they are out when it's really cold. however, hibernation is not the entirely continuous state most people seem to believe it is. there are stages, which tend to be shorter in a warmer climate.
