    Oy.

Well in defense of the colluded connection, (their going to be on a prepper show on nat geo and knoxvie is awash with new money me-too media moguls who probably also own the sentinel) it makes sense that it's on the front page.

To me whats interesting about these kind of folk is that their mindset is simply unsublimated expropriation. It's bare back capitalism! MINE MINE MINE MINE!!!!!

It's definitely the final episode of cannibalistic consumerism. If only life worked like the bible/TV.

Not to mention the fact that these creeps have a dick shaped Jesus probe jabbed in their Amygdala. Witchcraft indeed. Why is it the state always gives privilege and preference to religions that can easily be bent to support classism and unmitigated, crippling fear and distrust of EVERYTHING?

The sad truth is, the apocalypse may very well be upon us and perhaps has been with us since Lewis Powell and the boys figured out nationalism is obsolete.

The ground will continue to fall away from the feet of the lower and middle class until we are slurping soilent green Energy drinks while watching running man porn on the google goggles.

But hey, An excuse to shoot people and rifle through their pockets for matches?

    I'm in!

Did they give his address? You know, just in case it really happens.

I need one of them. It must be nice to walk in the valley of the shadow of death and fear no evil. Does Jesus install it himself or is it done through a preacher? And is it more effective than the bomb-shaped American Exceptionalism probe politicians have installed?

Poor Jesus. I have a feeling he was one of the seminal Bodhisattva's of the west. Jesus was an, if not the, archetypal iconoclast.

The whole of contemporary Christianity is the "whited sepulchres" parable writ large with a mortal dose of "money changers in the temple".

I wish more Christians (all of them) could practice the ethical part of Christianity.

    Paternalistic Dogma sells newspapers though.

    So sad.

It's sad. That young fellow could be applying his obsessive tendencies for a greater good. Instead, he's indulging in a reaction to his own irrational fright. I wonder how he'll feel in 10-15 years when survival hasn't been as difficult as he imagined.

I worked with a guy years ago who, upon hearing about the Y2K bug (and the possibility that it would wipe out information from major credit card companies), applied for lots of credit cards and ran up debt. After the inevitable didn't happen, he hated life. I think there was much more than just the debt at play, but I heard a few years after we were laid off that he had killed himself.

This guys believes in all that stuff from Revelations, but not the Rapture? Weird. So he has to suffer through the "times of tribulations" along with all the sinners.

    Don't seem right.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Poor guy knows he ain't one of the 144,000 to make God's cut. That must be like like knowing you're some kind of ultimate loser.
