Not certain that I could be troubled with a vegan diet, although many of my meals are vegan and I appreciate those who take the trouble to prepare vegan meals. After years drinking soy milk, I decided to return to plain kefir and yogurt -- it's the only culture in my life.
Had a friend who told of preparing a vegan Thanksgiving meal for a friend. She asked him how he enjoy the walnut gravy. He was allergic and they ended up in the emergency room having his stomach pumped.
thanks, jh. it's an adaptation of the recipe I used before my vegan days. mte knows more about biscuits than I, admittedly, since he buys them places from time to time. I won't speak for him to pass on a judgment, but he definitely eats the ones I make without complaint.
I'll quickly add that most "trouble" is as simple as adjusting a couple of habits. but I like to cook, and mmv, as yours does. but resources and products (and not just the highly processed ones) are more abundant than I think some folks realize.
my three zones of aspiration include upper body layering, accessories, and the key interface of sock, shoe and trouser.
