(I'm not talking about romantic love. But the all-encompassing love of caring and compassion that is missing in so much of the world.)
Chopped a cord of wood yesterday, a standing tree now puzzle-pieced stacked under a sheet of tin. Mostly slept through the night. The new cat Nina come into my room yowling at 5. Not sure she wanted to be let out, but she was. First cat I've known who doesn't bury poo. Just lays it steaming stink on top of the litter. Hauled ashes from the stove and stoked it.

Romantic love, like french fry love; either all consumed and soon again hungry, or goes cold, flaccid and greasy. Not worthy of the moniker "love", but so much of our language intentionally confuses and deludes more than it communicates.

Truth is silent, puzzle-piece stacked under a sheet of tin, waiting for the fire.

Set out to bump the last post on the last page and I find I am not "good" at sitting with it, or IT. Tight cheese is probably the answer if only I knew the question, or the questioner. But either way, I got all the garbage and recyclables loaded so I am headed to the Convenience Center, where "we" collect these things in accordance with community sponsored government. I am participating.

You comments are heard. "We" are mulling them and what your next steps should be...

Some of us think all collections from shower should be stored and returned those who generate such--but how to portion that out? We are still mulling...

Already stoked the fire and had a bowl of grits, read the entire internet. WUOT is playing flute sonatas and says that "skies are mostly fair today".

Should I be relieved, or worried? What sort of justice will a fair sky dispense?

I'm going to wear a hat, just in case.

Skies are not fair and skies are not unfair. Skies are fair AND unfair. This is our way.

    Chop wood, carry water.
Be in it but not of it.
    Be that which is.
    This.
