We've become Food City shoppers lately. For the swank factor.

Right-o Earl. The stock is based on what the registers inventory. And no person is better than another. There are other parts of town for people that think they are better than others. :/ Fellini isn't Fellini because of the store's inventory. It's the unique, interesting people and entertainment value. People don't buy all of their clothes at one store. What's so crazy about buying groceries at more than one store?

In my humble opinion, I don't think Food City has a great selection of meat at all....Im sure some stores are better than others...I guess? But I think Kroger is one of the best grocery stores around. In my own observations, the people working at Kroger have been very kind to me. That seems to say a lot for the business. The way they treat their customers and the quality of the food is very important to me for my family.

Btw I would love to go to Fellini Kroger just to be entertained.

Don't buy seafood at Kroger. I deal mostly with the checkout clerks, who are really nice people. And we use the pharmacy, where I have had stellar service on several fairly major insurance and/or supply-related problems

Food City at least has an in store butcher shop. The meats are cut all day long. The regional manager at Kroger once told me pre packaged meat was the way of the future. That was when they were closing all of their butcher shops. But if I need flesh, I go to Fresh Market. If I need seafood, I go to the Shrimp Dock.

This is true. I would prefer to shop different places....unfortunately Maryville Kroger is within walking distance for me.

Default we are what we eat

Fuck you, shoetick. We're having a serious midnight saturday grocery discussion in here.

I was referring specifically to the FC in Sokno.

Traveling around, I find that most chain groceries have a pretty broad range of quality. I love visiting grocery stores when I travel.
