Let me be clear, I find little condolence in the impending republican party's implosion. It's just desserts to be sure but t doesn't solve any of the problems we face.
On the one hand, the crypto-fascist/theocratic trajectory of the conservatives seems so contradictory.
In the age of media saturation and cameras everywhere, why tell people your REAL political intentions? for the past fifty years both parties were always more than happy to unashamedly skinny dip in the revenue stream of the government whether that be the military, welfare state, education etc.
On the other hand, look what they accomplished. By terrorizing both stripes of poltical persuasion (neurotic-D and psychotic-R) and the country at large with our inability to comprehend niether the REAL function of government let alone its implicit bureacratic mesmerism, they now have us feeding out of their hands.
Before they crashed into the gawdamn building thy manage to strap the overton window to a fleet of bulldozers and jerk the whole country about ten clicks to the right of center on the abysmally narrow political compass of american politics. And WHO FUCKING CARES if gays get to marry. If I were gay i would rather have a GOOD JOB. And who can afford an abortion in these dire economic times?
The democratic party through its Fabian ventures have been transformed into Reagan republicans. The globalists/bankers/PTB no longer NEED fox news or the republican party.
The republican party will retreat to their backwater states where they were spawned and we will then see terrorism on the state level yet undreamed of.
THIS democratic party could control our country for the next fucking decade before the PTB even noticed there wasn't an opposition party in government.
