Got out the space heaters for the first time last night. Need to find some with a digital thermostat and/or timer. Could really use one with a parental lock-out for the teenager who likes to set up his own private dry sauna while not contributing a whit to the gas bill. This may be a good project for some X-10 modules and a script running on the little file server.
Really just need a smaller house. Or to get back on the boat and point the bow south.

Winter is coming, and I'm in Wisconsin now. The fun should start soon. Last night we had high winds @ around 60 mph (gusts). Too bad I don't have roller blades and a king size bed sheet, I coulda had some fun in the streets.

looks like winter weather will be here tonight. there was a good bit of snowfall in west tenn, but of course it melted off fast.

I need some space heaters with adjustable power use settings so I don't have to worry about blowing a fuse every time I turn on more than two.
