Thread: Gypsy Hands

    Default Gypsy Hands

I received a gift certificate for a combo session with Sara (not cheap) at Gypsy Hands a couple months ago. I made an appointment and they called and cancelled two hours before the scheduled time so we rescheduled for the next week. This happened three more times without any explanation!

I had an appointment this morning and called them yesterday and left messages twice to confirm we were still on. When I arrived this morning, I found their main office is cleaned out except for a side office that still looks inhabited.

I'm trying to be compassionate but am having a hard time not being pissed and feeling ripped off. Anybody know what's up?

I think it's sold. Hollis is bailing (summers and winters anyway) for Hawaii.

that's glowing body, not gypsy hands.

i'm not sure what's going on either, knoxious, but please do try again. i know they've lately been needing to downsize as far as rented space goes. for a few years they've had not only that office, but the next one on the right (the one with very tall empty shelves; the plan was to make that into a retail space/reception area), in addition to the original upstairs dance, yoga, and other rooms.

I no longer buy gift cards or certificates, ever. Just buy a nice card and put cash in it. That used to be considered bad taste but I've been burned too many times both giving and receiving gift cards. I'll never trade that way again.

yeah, same here for exactly the same reasons. cash may be in bad taste, but it always fits and is never the wrong color.

I think that massage and the rest of life works better if you have a happy beginning. I know it makes me more relaxed.

How can you be relaxed knowing what's in store with the 'sad tears and angry recriminations-filled ending?'
