Thread: Some observations from Biscuit Fest

Default Some observations from Biscuit Fest

That crowd was a slow swell. I got there at about eight and while their were people milling about it was nothing major. I could hang. As the digital numbers edged in on ten though the boulevard started to populate with mass upon mass of short shorts long haired flip floppers. Crowds don't bother me but I was actually starting to get dizzy.

Biscuits are best made with buttermilk

I don't think the Knoxville culinary institute necessarily had the best biscuit but they had the best bread. Fresh hot and melt melt melt down the throat.

Hardee's contribution was a cinnamon and raisin biscuit??? Come on guys put forth a little a bit of creativity.

The dogs were fun to watch but toward the end I got nervous for the poor little guys. Imagine this little pups snuggled in their owners arms terrified of the onslaught of biscuit gorgers.

Out of all the street performers the stilts people were the best. One guy one woman one accordion with a duet of "With a little help from my friends" Leads me to this...Can we have street performer festival. no think about it once a year invite street performers from around the world to come to Knoxville and apply their creative wares. Singing, dancing, puppet shows, illusionists, balloon freaks, facial exaggeration experts, spinning tops, the whole thing.

I'm going to have to do some extensive googling on that when I wake up. It sounds like such a fun time.

Thanks for your observations. I was wondering.
I wish we could have some kind of fruit-fest and not a dough fest.
