    Default I beat the KCSO to the punch.

    Me ... boast? Nooooooooooooo.

    So ... someone hit my parent's vehicle today while they were in Home Depot ... and someone got the tag. I told them to report it ... they did, and then I did my own investigating ... found them, and miraculously not 10 minutes after I obtained all their info ... they called Safeco, and Safeco called my old man.

    Did I call the person? Maybe ... did they happen to call their insurance who in turn called my father shortly afterward ... yep.

    I bet you the officer has yet to even finish the report ... though he was nice to my folks ... I just saw it sitting at the bottom of their 'to do' stack ... and decided being proactive was the best option ... about $2,000 in damage ... and they thought they were just gonna go home and forget about it ... right.
