I think you mean union workers are doing what unions are supposed to do.

Technically your sort of correct. Kind of clever but not really.

As much as it disgusts me to post in a digit thread, why didn't the Repubs make this legislation apply to all public employees?

Wisconsin's measure would end collective bargaining for state, county and local workers, except for police, firefighters and the state patrol. Unions still could represent workers, but could not seek pay increases above those pegged to the Consumer Price Index unless approved by a public referendum. Unions also could not force employees to pay dues and would have to hold annual votes to stay organized.

Why do the cops and other "heroes" always get a pass? That's right, they aren't usually libruls.

Actually, I was not trying to be clever or take a side, but just repeating what the newscasters said. They were standing in crowds of protestors doing live reports and it was hard to hear what they were saying over the noise of the protestors.

But thanks Keef, for calling me kind of clever.

The police and firefighters endorsed the current governor when he ran. Although now they seem to be standing with their brothers and sisters.

Not something I can bear joking about. Not even a little.

Now if you meant "For What It's Worth", that's a different story (and a different band).
