    Over/under: 52

    Final: UTK 47 - UTM 7

UTM will score. When was UT's last shutout? Even WKU put points on the board last year.

There are probably several D-I teams that are worse than UT-Martin. They fought Auburn to a 20-20 stalemate through 3 quarters a couple of years ago. UT will win handily, but I expect the Skyhawks to hang around longer than most Vol faithful are going to be comfortable with. The fact is, our porous defensive line, lacking in depth, will invite UT-Martin to run, try to grind out first downs, and shorten the game.

    Score:

    UT 35
    UT-Martin 10

I think that of all the football coaches UT has ever had, Derek Dooley is going to be one.

UTM had Cade Thompson as QB that year, if I'm not mistaken. He was a Maryville grad who originally signed with South Carolina. Good enough player that Spurrier thought he could play in the SEC. I confess I don't know much about their roster this year but they probably have a couple of SEC-caliber players. Not enough to win, probably, but they would be well served to follow your game plan.

I hope they lose every game. The tears of the Tennessee faithful make me stronger with each loss! (cue evil scientist laugh)

If he proves to have the following and ability like his Daddy, ya'll will be lucky to have him lead the team. Hopefully, he'll stick around for a spell too. (And, he'll leave the teaching and grades to the profs and not get involved.)

In the realm of multi-million dollar college football coaches, Dooley fills a much-needed void.

Default So, what is going on?

I don't have pay for view and don't feel like turning on the radio.

    How is it going?

I was on Knoxnews.com and the first quarter it was UT 12-0. They should be way beyond that by now. I haven't heard the cannon for a while (I'm in Happy Hollow and am blessed with that sound when there's a touchdown), and otherwise all appears quiet.

UPDATE: ESPN.com gives halftime score as UT 20-0.
