The team quit on Dooley, pretty much immediately after that intentional grounding call. I know we're still not up to upper-tier SEC standards in terms of depth, but I am quite disturbed by this team's repeated lack of fight and moxie in second halves of winnable games against quality opposition. I believe Derek Dooley to be a solid, stand-up guy who wants to win the "right" way (whatever that is), but this is big boy football, and he's in over his head. In other words, he's Buzz Peterson. Next.
What Gray said. Dooley needs to light a fire under these guys or he'll be gone. I saw a close up of Bray toward the end of the 3rd quarter and he had quit. You could see it in his eyes and body language. Just didn't care. Florida ate them up after that. This team has talent but no moxie.
