Seriously, though, I read the piece and thought it summed things up well. I mean, it didn't poke Haslam with the sharp stick Steve Ross apparently wanted, but it doesn't exactly carry water when it comes to dispelling the criticism Haslam's receiving from the right. He's calling the "timing" suspect because that's all he's got to go with. (a piece on Haslam the gun-loving, god fearin,' Mexican hatin' hothead who'll challenge Obama to an old fashioned duel, now that would be suspect...)

Considering how much we went 'round and 'round regarding Haslam vs. Rogero in 2003, I'd be curous to hear a little more of your personal take, particularly how things have turned out some seven years on?
