It's like I always say: "Salvation is a joke. But it's not the joke you think it is."

I really enjoyed my ascent towards buddhism. But don't discount Terence Mckenna style mysticism either!

It seems there has been a movement in some circles away from enlightenment as a goal- just as there is a movement towards integrating science more while ditching reincarnation-

"Mark" means the same thing in "free market" that it does in a carnie's calculations. You have to adjust to the marketplace.

So wasn't it Allen Ginsberg that was comparing the Blues with Buddhism.

Relax your mind relax your mind
It will make you live a great long time
    Some times
You have to relax your mind.

I have an hour long commute to work now. So I've been meditating in the morning and afternoon when I'm finished reading. This morning one of the fellows that works in the same building as I do sits down beside me. We exchange hello's and then I close my eyes and meditate for the remainder of the ride approximately 20 minutes. I open my eyes wondering what my companion would be thinking and I notice that he as well was opening his eyes. He crossed himself and we talked as we walked out of the station about our long commute. It was nice.

It's amazing how long it takes me to appreciate things sometimes.

Where odd audio errata, ephemeralities, and nonsense occasionally collide with actual music for serious contemplation. Trouble is - I'm not saying what is which.
