Thread: Picketing?

    Default Picketing?

Anyone know what's going on on Old Kingston Pike where the new (and long empty) shopping center is? People are picketing outside where a new restaurant is supposedly moving in. My mom lives across the street but she can't read what their signs say. "Stop...someone or another". She says they're yelling and carrying on something fierce and police are starting to scope out the scene.

I hope it's not the new Bearden Beer store.

So I still don't now what the heck that was all about. A neighbor told my mom she talked to the two guys that are opening it. They said it's a restaurant and that it's going to be "nothing like this town has ever seen."

    Hmmmm.

Hmmm, indeed. That fits a similar description to what I've heard is going into the old by-the-tracks bistro location.

Well, that rules out "all you can eat." Which wouldn't be picketed, either. So it must be a socialist vegetarian progressive mandatory death-camp-for-granny kinda place.

    Well then, my mom's safe.
