There used to be a show on the MTSU station which played nothing but this sort of stuff -- GGRRRRBthumpthumpthumpLLARGHHHHGGRBthumpthumpthump LLARGGHRRRRGGGGHHHH -- for an hour straight. Once you get over the unbelievable brain-crushing tedium of it (I always sort of suspected they were playing the same song over and over), it's sort of relaxing, in a way. Not white noise...maybe dark gray noise?
