Default Yo La Tengo's new album

Their new album "Popular Songs" can be heard on NPR now prior to its release. It sounds great. Can't wait to see them at the Bijou. Here is the link. Separately, they also have Jason Lytle in concert. I love that guy.

We are spinning it on WUTK, as well. No surprise, though. And yep, it's some cool stuff. And yep, they play The Bijou Sept. 22.

And they expect a nice, quiet, Lawrence Welkian audience. So behave.

Shouldn't be a problem. The new album does seem more laid back and melodic than I am not afraid of you and I will beat your ass.

Can we get a Ryan Adams/YLT double bill at the Bijou? Weekend date would be preferable as I would certainly be hungover and hoarse the next day.

I actually thought of bringing that little dandy up but I have tried to wash that night from my mind. See, I actually LIKE Ryan's music where as YLT can suck me sack.
