    a flawed man no doubt, but he fought hard for (imo) a lot of things worth fighting for.

    i think he just gives the health care cause a rallying point. "do it for teddy!

    on the downside he obviously costs a vote, and it could take 6 months to fill the seat.

    Wow. And Rush Limbaugh was pilloried for saying that the Democrats would use Kennedy's death to try to rally support for a health care bill. That man just has no shame.

    I would be perfectly ok to see Limbaugh pilloried for eating biscuits or petting kittens. Any opportunity to do damage to evil should be taken.

    yeah it would be really awful and exploitative to use his legacy to build momentum for an issue he devoted his political life to.
