Default Local writers reading THURSDAY at downtown library

Laura Still, Pamela Shoenewaldt, Judy Loest, Dawn Coppock and RB Morris will be reading from their entries in the new writers' guild anthology: "Outscapes: Writings on Fences and Frontiers" (editors Jessie Janeshek and Jesse Graves) at 7 p.m. Thursday (Oct 9) at the downtown library. I think this'll be in the big room downstairs from the main street level entrance.

I've almost finished reading the anthology and it's really terrific!

it was a huge crowd. and one of the best readings i've ever heard. they were all short, amazing poetry and story excerpts, and rb morris topped off the night. knoxville has some seriously good writers, and i mean on a national or international level.

there's an old joke that if you're a poet and more than 10 people know who you are, you're famous. there were a lot of famous poets there tonight.
