I've been thinking the same thing. I would also assume that there were numerous visitors in attendance to see the kids perform. This guy either had a remarkable sense of timing or the numbers were part of the plan. I hate to think of that happening here.

I hate to say this, but I hope we can get an eyewitness account from someone who was there. A blabber perhaps.

I'm glad the guy didn't get a chance to shoot any more than he did before being disarmed. I wonder what he has to say for himself?

Again: Why on earth would KNS and the local news in Knoxville leave the comments on the articles around this shooting? Oh, that's right they are trying to "build community" through the openness of their forums!

and to sell lots of car ads.

Man, how could anyone have hate for such a wide open and accepting sort of church like that? Its not like they are or have ever condemned anyone for anything...its like taoism for protestant and catholic raised folks.

Sadly the comments have been more restrained than normal this morning. The real mouth breathers must still be in church or elsewhere.

EDIT: I don't mean it's sad that the comments are more restrained, just that I usually have to cringe when I read the spew that the normal contributors feel the need to put out.

Brian Griffin is OK. He's still at the crime scene and not allowed to say who was hurt.

That's not the church where Chris Buice is the pastor is it? I hope not..not that it's any better if it's not his church. I was a camp counselor at Camp Ocoee with Chris. I know he has a church somewhere on Kingston Pike.

What a wake up call, huh? Now maybe one might have a better understanding as to why I have a 9mm. I wish I couldn't believe it could happen in Knoxville but I totally can. This world is off it's hinge.

I'm glad to hear Brian is ok. I was thinking of him.
