"Congressman Ron Paul has warned millions of radio listeners that the US is heading into a deadly confrontation with Iran, revealing his disbelief at members of Congress who have openly voiced support for a pre-emptive nuclear strike on the country.

From what I've read, that is the time the Russians have stated that a nuclear reactor they are finishing for the Iranians will come on line. I'm sure the Israelis have set that as the prerequisite for an attack.

Yep, and Hillary's aggressive stance toward Iran was a huge factor in her losing the nomination. If you would rather not start our third war in six years and our first against an opponent with military capabilities, Obama is your candidate and impeachment your top political priority.

Bombing a nuclear reactor during construction is one thing -- a danger to the workers and an affront to another nation's sovereignty, but bombing a reactor once it is fueled up is a potential Chernobyl.

Hersh was interviewed on Fresh Air last week about this article, and he said what is coming is a "october surprise" attack on Iran. seems like a disasterous idea for the GOP to allow this, as i really dont see even the most pro-military americans among us supporting this idea. its political suicide, and no doubt mccain would bear the brunt of the fallout.
