Thanks. He's split from Koi now. I caught his eye as he was walking out of the Square and said "how do you do." He smiled back and said "hello."
That's the coolest thing to happen today.
So far.

No, seriously. That was cool.
I can't believe I just said hi to Elvis Costello.
I mean, damn.
The blab collective rocks.

~m,
Sounds like you played it cool and have a great story cinco de Mayo story for posterity.
Congrats!
(I probably would have been too shy to have spoken to him but would have gone to the Koi and asked if I could "bus" his table and perhaps removed his napkin or glass for posterity. Speaking to him is way cooler than a used glass.)

Party in James' shower! Everyone is coming!!!
Your nickname can be polish and mine can be rust.
Yeah. Basically I saw Hayduke's post, checked the time, and took a stroll. I don't think I'd have had the nerve to say anything except for that as we past and I broke into a big smile, he smiled back as if to acknowledge, and I managed to spit out "how do you do" while trying to act like I was just passing by. Wish I'd said "welcome back to knoxville."
Damn. Did I mention that was cool?
