Damn it. I just stayed up late to see Langhorne Slim on the Letterman show and the stupid local affiliate covered up the first half or more of Slim's performance with lame-ass local car commercials. Damn it.

I met that guy at bonaroo in like 03 I was on "that tent" production duties and got to handle sonic youth and flaming lips equipment. I have a picture of wayne coyne with his arm around me drinking a beer and making the vulcan sign....anyways before polyphonic spree went on langhorne played earlier in the day and he had this super small fedora crusher hat on, he looked like a monkey with an organ grinder kind of. ANyways we drank some of wayne coynes beer which he apparently had a cooler stocked full of nice swank beer just for roadies and those people that dress up in animal suits for lips shows, and me and langhorne watched the spree set up and talked about tom waits.

Oh yeah ... I got to meet Langhorne very briefly in Asheville one time when he opened for the Trachtenberg Family Slideshow Players. His road manager gave me a home-made promo CD with some great stuff on it.

EDIT: My bad, CBS is one of the only networks stupid enough to not get in on Hulu. Oh well, it's still a great site for new and retro shows.

WOW! I didn't know www.hulu.com existed. Thanks for the mention!
Hulu is pretty great. I wish they had a better selection of films, but I'm sure that will improve over time. Plus, it's 100% legal and the video is high-quality so you don't have to wade through fuzzy YouTube clips.

I finally got around to watching all of Firefly on Hulu so now I can be one of those obnoxious people who constantly whine about it being cancelled.
Seriously, how fucking awesome was that show? Every single episode was sheer perfection.
