Having been to his Knoxville house several years ago, I can't say I didn't see that coming.

The only question is which drug he OD'd on.
I was born a bastard, and then I just got worse.

Well damn. I hate to hear that. Brad was not a bad guy at all. His family was the dictionary definition of dysfunctional and that led Brad to some pretty dumb choices but, those were primarily personal choices. In my several interactions with him, he was friendly and professional. Whether as a musician or an actor or the times I ran into him socially, he was always friendly and never appeared to be anything other than someone who might have needed an early family and friend transplant.

    I'll miss him.

He was a pretty nice guy, when he was cogent enough to speak.

The only time I ever met him I was equally twisted, so I guess the only thing to my credit is that I eased up. Damn. He must've been like 17 or so.

    Ditto that.

    Fuck.
    Farewell, but you will be
with me, you will go within
a drop of blood circulating in my veins
or outside, a kiss that burns my face
or a belt of fire at my waist.

Exactly. He was a mess and looked bad at that Longbranch party a year ago, but, he was a sweet guy and could've been one of the great young actors of his era. (See: "Apt Pupil," "Bully," that Grisham book-flick I'm blanking on right now)

    So long, cuz.
