I just ate pinto beans and cornbread. I did not cook them. my husband did. He put really big pieces of onion in w/ the beans and boiled them
together. I put tons of vinegar on them when I eat them. MMMMM good.

Rick made bar-b-q chicken and mac and cheese.

(Nothing too involved- I've got to straighten the shop and go through boxes and he wants to watch Survivor. Now, I'm not too jazzed to get off the sofa-between the good dinner and a snuggly cat, I may give in and stay put.)

Today I indulged: portobello, oyster, and shitake mushrooms with sauteed leeks, artichoke hearts, parmesan cheese and white truffle oil over whole wheat pasta at Oodles. If you’ve not eaten there in a while, go back. The new chefs are doing exciting things. Yum. Trust me.

    I'm having a veggie wrap.

However, you just ate one of my favorite meals in all the world!

I like to use olive oil instead of Crisco in the cornbread. and green onions are best, but red ones will do very nicely.

Mixed leftover hamburger meat with a can of chili beans. Added hot pepper and onion. Poured over taco chips and added a cheese garnish. Pretty good at the time, now I feel a little overfed.

Out of halloween candy, may chase with a glass of milk.

(wonder what Happytat eats for supper...)
