Are you moving to the new location? I hope so.
What is JC's new blab handle? I can only remember "bookeddy" at the moment.
The new digs look great! Congratulations. You will have 50 years of fun with that. The Bird book looks interesting but I think the www is my best bet for publishing. Even people who love books as much as I aren't spending much time with dead trees anymore. The virtuous future is virtual. Tell Shoe I'm ready for my chip.
Thanks for the note about Rachael. I'm very proud of her. You and Shoetick have a great holiday, OK?
A nice little collection of felt dolls at a little shop in Hot Springs. (and fwiw - tub #5 has the best jets, hottest water and a nice view of the river.)
Thanks Gnaw! HAW! I was planning on laying one on him! I was so looking forward to being there.
I'm in good shape. Some mysteries to solve about the whole episode.
On another note..I am planning to get to your Mom and Dad's tomorrow. Three days with no rain so far, the ground should be just right for post setting and the posts should be dry too. When the posts are wet they shrink when they dry and the post are loose! Same with the dirt, when it drys it srinks away from the cement and the post is loose. So Friday should be perfect!
I've missed them!
Thanks for the note. Hope to see you all soon!
Glad you like it! It will serve them well. I wish it would stop raining long enough to finish. I set one post trying to finish and the ground was still wet so it wiggles. I'll cement around the top of that one and it will be fine.
Your folks are FANTASTIC!! I am enjoying them so much. Your mom is such a total mother! Bandaged a cut on my finger! Feeding me country meals when I work late! It's so sweet! They love you and are very proud of you! It's been a pleasure!
What a nice surprise, having you to accompany me house-scouting Wednesday! It made going out to that 9-acre eyesore on Martin Mill Pike all worthwhile.
Your folks are great! I really am enjoying them! They are both so proud of you!
The ground was to wet to set the posts. So I worked at home and got the posts all cut and drilled. If the grown is too wet, when it drys out it shrinks and then the post are loose. So I'm hoping to get them set tomorrow, it should be better. I am going to talk to your Mom about putting another horizontal board about half way up the post so if someone does fall they'll bump that board and not the rocks. It is going to be really a good safety feature for both of them.
I so hope the Natasha Richardson situation is over exaggerated and she'll make a full recovery.
