GSN LAUNCHES A NEW INTERNET GAME

LAMPOONING THE ‘ILL-CONSIDERED’ O.J. SIMPSON BOOK DEBACLE

In the New Satirical Game, Users Throw the Alleged

‘If I Did It’ Book at Animated O.J. Simpson

(Santa Monica, CA) - Wednesday, December 13 – GSN is deploying an original online game today that allows critics of the “ill-considered” O.J. project to do what a Los Angeles Criminal Jury refused to do and literally “throw the book at him.”

“Throw the Book at O.J.” features an animated O.J. Simpson at a fictional book store where his book signing was cancelled. “Throw the Book At O.J.” is a part of GSN’s free suite of online games which are available to share and pass along. The game site is located at http://www.gsn.com.

Players of the game throw books at a constantly moving Simpson target. When Simpson is hit by the books, the user receives points as Simpson suffers bumps and bruises. Simpson also goes after the player by spiraling footballs at them. If Simpson is successful at striking the user with three footballs, the game is over. Players can earn extra points if they intercept valuable cartoon items that fall out of Simpson’s jacket pockets: bundles of money, a trophy and a glove.

GSN began creating original content with other such topical Internet games as “So You Think You Can Drive Mel?” which referred to the celebrity scandal and “Foley’s Follies,” a game featuring the former Congressman animated trying to out-run Pages. Also, premiering this month on GSN’s minigames site is a holiday game entitled “North Pole Hold’em” where users can play poker against Santa and his elves.

"KARMA'S a bitch, so think about that before you act...."

I wish you wouldn't mischaracterize karma as 'bad' by saying that it is akin to a something bad in your mind. This misses the point of karma.

I don't think Karma is bad. I have recently been the recipient of some good Karma. However, Karma is just bouncing back whatever energy you put out there. Neither good, nor bad. It just is. I believe strongly in each individual's energy and the role it plays in the world. Glad to see you just joined today. It's like wishing someone what they deserve. That sounds a bit negative, but if you've put good stuff out there, you deserve good stuff.

Oh, and bitch isn't always a bad thing in my "mind."

There is neither good karma nor bad karma. Karma just is. I have seen your posts before and I think you suffer greatly. Samsara, or the cycle of impermanence that is life, is bounded in three defilements: Desire, ill-will and ignorance. You, TallGirl, participate in all three. You have desires that you allow to guide you. You have ill will because those desires can't be fulfilled and you are ignorant of how you can break free of these defilements. The hate and nastiness you have experienced on the Blab and on other forums are a consequence of your allowing these three things to rule you. Join me in renouncing these defilements and accepting the Four Noble Truths:

1. Life is suffering
2. The origin of suffering is attachment
3. Suffering can end
4. There is a path to the end of suffering

The path to the end of suffering is eight fold: right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration. Ask yourself how that you can work to follow this path. Your suffering can end.

God, spawn of satan, and now THE BUDDHA have joined the Blab! Or, technically, I guess Siddhartha would be pre-Buddha.
I like it.

Gee, I thought that was what I said......

Well thank you for caring about my well being. Your comment about other forums is telling. I participate in no other forums. I once posted to the Mullet Brigade, but found that to be....less than intelligent, and I run a board for women who were sexually abused that was lurked upon by a Blabber. So, you are either one of two people, neither of whom matter in my world (and one of whom has legal action pending against them). My life has never been better. I haven't suffered in quite sometime, but again, thank you. And I changed my sig line just for you.

There are many who suffer here on Blab. Some have recently experienced very bad things happening to them, after they enacted some suffering upon others. Some who may soon lose their jobs, some who have lost their jobs, and some who will experience great joy. Life is a cycle that never ends. Well, until you die. And even then, your energy still exists.

And I thought Buddha or pre-Buddha or whatever, wasn't about judging? And that is what you have done based on a very limited knowledge of me. Cause we all know everybody on this board is really how they are in real life! Oh yes!

And you of course have no other screen names. Oh no. And of course you just can't let a sleeping dog lie.

I laugh at this.

Let's see....

Awesome job, awesome woman in my life, good friends, a feeling of peace, a four legged friend who loves me regardless of who I am and a bunch of kids who play their little hearts out for me. Yeah, I'm suffering.

You know, I once interviewed for a PR gig with your followers in LA. Didn't get it, but thought it would be a neat place to work. Oh well.

It just is what it is. You just are who you are. That's all any of us are.

Again, thank you for the words and care, but there are others here who could benefit from your "wisdom" more than I. People who may need help from "friends" and that would be you.

Peace!
