also, am i meant to assume that someone has rented both timecop2 and superman iii in recent weeks? that makes me feel not so bad about the various things i do to waste time.

Yep.

I'm hoping it's a sign that perhaps one of the positions that I've applied for in the greater Knox area will come though, or at least have the decency to let me know they're not interested (Nobody freakin' does that anymore. Miss Manners would scalp them).


Or maybe it's just a reminder that I'm coming in week after next, to see my rapidly-declining mama.

They really should tell you once a position is filled or if you're still in contention for it...

Sorry to hear that your Mom isn't doing well. I hope your other family members are holding up ok... taking care of others takes a lot out of the caregivers.

It's funny, after an interview for a job in Knoxville, I started seeing Knox county license plates all over Athens, GA. I took it as a sign, and it proved to be fruitful!

So, we moved back after a 4-year hiatus.
