Knoxville band Highwater, round the mid-late 90s, singer/harmonica player Mark who was also a slam poet and good friend of mine, anyone know Whatever Happened To?

He was in a great blues band called Black Diamond Heavies for a while. They played here a time or two. Recently, he left the band because he didn't want to tour and wanted o stay at home with his gal. He got one of those stomach surgeries, too, and lost a lot of weight. He's on my MySpace friends, but I don't think he's looked at his page in months. I have his e-mail somewhere around here. I'm not sure if he was still living in Nashville, or if he oved back toward Chattanooga.

You'd think so, huh? Unfortunately that period of time was a time I did a lot of brain-cell damage. So despite having hung out with him probably nearly a hundred times and having been on a Slam team with him, for the life of me I can't remember his last name.
