Her pictures with the little girlfriends didn't gross me out nearly as much as some of the pics in the comments.
Grow up a few years and then they'll be old enough for Michael's! (Um. . . if it's still open by then.)

i was actually kinda surprised that she listed her orientation as lesbian, since it all seems like imitation girls-gone-wild stuff. there's not a real actual kiss in any of the pics. but maybe if your only exposure to lesbianism is porn lesbianism, you think that's how it's done. (maybe "porn lesbian" should be a new subcategory of lesbianism.)

you mean faux lesbianism? cause thats about what it looks like they are into. the whole girls gone wild lesbianism is so funny. sort of like the match.cohen group and their desperate attempt at attention, the faux lesbianism thing just smacks of a pathetic need to be noticed. also, notice how often on the myspace page they talk about how hot they think they are. sorry, you need to say it that much is pretty sad. and probably boring as hell to talk to. i doubt they can hold a conversation about much of anything other than who was on the cover of the latest People magazine.

So KnoxBlab continues in its search for authentic lesbian cheerleaders. Serious questions were raised about the credibility of the witnesses in the original "lesbian-cheerleaders-arrested-for-doing-it-in-the-john" story. Pornography doesn't count. The subjects of this thread are skanky faux-lesbians. Where, oh, where may authentic, verifiable (with photos) lesbian cheerleaders be found.
The quest continues...

eh same thing. only thing more annoying than a soroity chick is a drunk one. i used to work for a cover band that played frat parties. the thing is, i used to think the stereotype about girls at frat parties was just that-a stereotype. well, after working for them i realized why the stereotype exists in the first place.

Now hang on just a goddamn minute. All of you who are saying that girls get sexy with other girls just for the attention and don't actually enjoy it aren't thinking very hard, here. Those of you that are straight, could you imagine being capable of getting all up on a same-sex person just for attention?
I honestly think the vast majority of girls are fundamentally bisexual. They may not have any interest in a relationship with another girl, but that doesn't mean they don't enjoy women. Basically every girl I've ever known has said she finds other women attractive and would do things with one, or has done things, and not just in a bar in front of 30 cheering frat boys, either.
What is it with me lately. Why am I of all people getting annoyed with "shooting fish in a barrel" style mockery? But really, who the fuck are any of us to judge these girls and call them skanks? What if they're happy and that's just what they like - so fucking what, man?
Grumble, grumble.

i think more to the point of the thread is that girls, such as the one on the myspace page posted, are clearly attention whores. i really could care less if all girls wanted to get with each other the world over at some point in their lives. but girls like the one on that page are so desperate to be noticed, its more sad than sexy. they are just begging to be noticed, and are willing to do silly shit like talk about how hot they are and to make sure any picture taken of them they have one hand on some other girls tit and the other hand on an economy-sized bottle of tequila.
and whats really funny is that every time this sort of thing becomes passe, they try and top it. remember tramp stamps? 10 years ago it was so risque, now every girl under the age of 40 has them, so its not shocking anymore. or how bout pierced tounges? same thing. now we have Girls Gone Wild-style lesbianism. all of it is nothing more than "i have nothing interesting to say or do, so, uh, look at my tits and watch me kiss this chick! guys tell me im pretty so thats all i really need to get by in life!!!".
i agree some girls find other girls attractive and are willing to experiment too. i got no problems with them. but its the very fact that girls like the one on this myspace page need to advertise who "crazee" they are to the world thats stupid, and yes she clearly wants 30 cheering frat boys to see it too.

I guess I just don't find them nearly as offensive as "intellectual attention whores". I've never really had a problem with people who use their looks to maximum advantage - or their brains. Problem is when people who are lacking in one or both departments try it.
I mean, damn, yo. If I see some fine-ass gothic honey who spent probably $1000 on her outfit and makeup and took 3 hours to get ready, she may be dumb as a box of hammers but I'm not going to make fun of her for looking good. There's a place in the world for beauty.

of course. but as they say, beauty is only skin deep. i dont care if i see the most beautiful woman in the world, if she has nothing to say, then my interest is going to be extremely limited.
this girls myspace page is little more than tits ass and booze. thats all fine and good as the many men on her comments section seem to attest to. i just think that its funny she has to advertise it so loudly.
its sort of like that car commerical with all the people with megaphones shouting out the REAL reasons they own the cars they do. they have to use their cars to make a statement about themselves cause they have nothing else to say. same could be said for a tits and ass. ok, you got a nice rack. what else ya got? yeah, didnt think so.

I honestly don't think intelligence is determined by effort. I know a lot of people with great insight and wisdom and intelligence who don't even read books. And I know people who have tried to "become smart" by doing those things and still can't hold a conversation.

For the record, I do NOT identify as a lesbian. I can go to bed with a man as easily as I can a woman who isn't afraid of having an emotion or the fact that I can be intense, but patient and won't expect anything she can't give. Hence my new term, heteroflexible. I require intelligence first and foremost (a bit lacking in the lesbo population here). I actually hate labels, but I've found in this town, it's almost a requirement. As for when I find a woman, you may not have to wait too long.....
And yes, I'll come on your show. I've been on the Weakest Link, Berman & Berman discussing female sexual dysfunction and was an original cast member for the new all gay "I've Got a Secret," so, doing Funhouse is a-ok by me. Just as soon as I hog tie that woman I've got my eye on. And yes, I'm serious as well.

If you must slap a label on it, yeah. I've always said I'm not this and I'm not that; I'm just me in all my flawed glory.
In November I was training in South Carolina for this hideous job I had at the the time (if you ever want to know why we have shitty TV, call me). I had a break-up phone call that my trainer overheard, even though I tried to be discreet. The next day I was still upset and she finally said, "I'm sure she'll talk to you....I mean, he'll talk to you when you get home." I told her she had it right the first time and then this woman, a Laura Ashley wannabe (literally) starts grilling me on the lesbian lifestyle. Was I born this way or did I choose to be this way? And then she smiled and said, "I'm so glad we got that out in the open, aren't you?" No, I wasn't. It was a very private thing and had she not overheard the phone message I received, I certainly never would have told her. For many reasons. Whatever.
Told her I had no clue about the lesbian lifestyle. I just knew my lifestyle. She then told me she wanted to be well rounded and know all about diversity, blah, blah, blah. But the kicker was when she asked me why all the lesbian couples she knew weren't married. And she was serious. I explained that it wasn't legal and she just couldn't believe that. In the end, she told our direct supervisor "all she'd learned from me" regarding being a lesbian. Yeah, that was fun. She didn't get the memo on privacy.
So label me how you will. I don't care, other than to say it's a hell of a lot easier being of an alternative lifestyle in LA than here. Bigger and better selection of women too. Of course, all the men are gay, but that's another story.
As I won't be having a child, I must now decide if I am going to continue living alone or make the effort to find someone. I bring a lot of shit to the plate, but I think I'm worth it and somewhere out there is someone, somebody who thinks the same.
Maybe it's a woman, maybe it's a man, but I will not wake up at 40 and be alone, hate my life and consider myself a failure when I'm not. No, I will make a life with someone. It may be here, it may be in Botswana, but being alone is a choice and one I choose not to make. I won't be the crazy cat lady. I won't have idiot friends who interfere with my love life because they need drama and are co-dependent. I will have patience and all the love there is to give to someone. Someone who is willing to swallow their pride and ego and hubris and be human. Wherever they are, we'll find each other, or revisit each other.
But that's just me, all nice and hung-over, as I am most days these days, venting frustrations in a sad attempt to make sense of my life.
Godspeed Blab.

I don't think that calling yourself "bisexual" is a label but rather just a statement of fact. You enjoy both men and women. That is the definition of bisexual. To make some kind of grand statement against labeling based on that would be like me saying "I'm not 'white', I'm 'melatonin-challenged'."
I just wanted to jump in and say that Wombat's avatar is awesome.
Oh, yeah, and one other thing: with regard to the MySpace attention whores who present themselves as having only T&A to offer - there's a chicken-and-egg thing at work here. The male gender has to take some responsibility for creating this new generation of completely shallow, faux-lesbian, sex-obsessed girls. After all, isn't this, by majority vote, what we indicated that we wanted all along? Hot, vapid girls who dress like hookers, put out on demand, and will make out with other chicks in bars for our amusement? (not you, Jack, or you, Fluffy, or me. Heavens, no. Just a general consensus here.) We reap what we sow.

well first off, we didnt make these women act this way. i do think that the porn industry sets a precedent, and has for decades. but if women think thats what every guy wants, thats their fault for misunderstanding, or stereotyping all men as all wanting the same thing.
what happened to women empowerment and not giving into what men want? if these women are doing this sort of thing just to appeal to men, they must not have a lot of faith in being themselves.
same goes the other direction for bad boys and women. i realize that not every woman wants that kind of guy, and im not going to change who i am just to appeal to women who like those kind of men. if you want the guy that rides a harley, gets in bar fights and parties like gene simmons, that aint me. im fine with that.
the other thing here is being able to seperate fantasy from reality. just as most women realize that the bad boy is a bad choice for a long term relationship involving marriage, kids, etc so is the spring break slut probably not a good choice for a solid dependable relationship as well.
besides, as ive said before, if you have to show off as much as the women on this myspace page, you must not have a lot going on otherwise. ive got no problem with women being comfortable with their looks and knowing they are hot. its just funny that the women on this myspace page are practically screaming "look at me!!!". there is a difference.
I don't think it's fair to make fun of dumb beautiful people any more than it is to make fun of ugly smart people.

Ok, but the clothing is similar....?
Then, if it's just the hair color thing how can you tell the difference between a townie, a punk, and a harajuku.
The townies I grew up with did the blue hair and plaid schoolgirl look...of course, they also had pet rats that were perched on their shoulders.
I guess what I'm asking is what is the ideology that surrounds being considered "anime schoolgirl" versus another genre?

I don't think that calling yourself "bisexual" is a label but rather just a statement of fact. You enjoy both men and women. That is the definition of bisexual. To make some kind of grand statement against labeling based on that would be like me saying "I'm not 'white', I'm 'melatonin-challenged'."
No, it's not that simple Jack Frost, but I don't really have the energy to get into the thought process, lifestyle etc. that would explain what I am talking about. And I don't call myself bisexual. Heteroflexible was very tongue in cheek, but as most things do in the world of cyber communication, it got lost in translation. I think we need to take ALL prefixes out of sex and just have sex. Not hetero, homo, bi or anything else.
I get flack from certain corners because I refuse to identify as lesbian. Why? Because where I just spent the last 6 years, that word means you would never have sex with a man. Not true here. Bisexual is not a very welcome term in some areas. Alot of women think bisexual=she'll-leave-me-for-a-man-as-soon-as-she-can. And I guess some would. For me, I'm with you, I'm with you until that relationship is over. Male or female.
My point is just that I don't stop and think one thing or the other when describing what I like to myself or anyone else. I hate all labels (even ones that are statements of fact, which can still be labels). Period. Anybody who knows me and has bothered to have an actual conversation with me, knows that. That isn't some grand statement, but I guess you might think that based on a few comments on a board. God knows we all take our identities from Blab. It validates us! Makes us human! NOT.
As for being melatonin challenged, the Politically Correct Dictionary actually mentions something close to that. If we must get stupid over it.
Whatever. I'm over it.

But nobody does. Just because I like women doesn't mean I like certain kids of women exclusively.
The statement "I am heterosexual" means that I like women; not that I like all women. Thus it is a true and factual statement about me.
For you to state "I am bisexual" would likewise not imply anything about the personalities, appearances, behaviors or habits of any potential mate, male or female, that you choose. But considering you say you are capable of enjoying relationships with both sexes, it is still a factual statement about you.
I'm not saying anything like that should matter - the fact that I have brown hair and grey eyes likewise shouldn't matter - but I think you run the risk of coming off as rather arrogant, along with an implication that you are somehow more complex, thus better, than people who don't mind saying "I like girls", "I like boys", or "I like both". If you don't mind coming off that way, hey, go for it. Whatever flips your quarter.

for someone who doesnt like labels, you spend a lot of quantifying yourself.
well first off, we didnt make these women act this way. i do think that the porn industry sets a precedent, and has for decades. but if women think thats what every guy wants, thats their fault for misunderstanding, or stereotyping all men as all wanting the same thing.
what happened to women empowerment and not giving into what men want? if these women are doing this sort of thing just to appeal to men, they must not have a lot of faith in being themselves.
same goes the other direction for bad boys and women. i realize that not every woman wants that kind of guy, and im not going to change who i am just to appeal to women who like those kind of men. if you want the guy that rides a harley, gets in bar fights and parties like gene simmons, that aint me. im fine with that.
the other thing here is being able to seperate fantasy from reality. just as most women realize that the bad boy is a bad choice for a long term relationship involving marriage, kids, etc so is the spring break slut probably not a good choice for a solid dependable relationship as well.
besides, as ive said before, if you have to show off as much as the women on this myspace page, you must not have a lot going on otherwise. ive got no problem with women being comfortable with their looks and knowing they are hot. its just funny that the women on this myspace page are practically screaming "look at me!!!". there is a difference.
Ah, but I would posit that the ability to be the object of base male desire by virtue of dressing and acting slutty is, to some of the so-called "MySpace attention whores," in itself empowering. It's the whole "girls rule/guys drool" routine.
Do you really think that these MySpace girls are necessarily looking for a long-term relationship in the first place? Sadly, I get the impression that a large part of their self-worth is measured in terms of how many drooling boys they have lusting after them at any given time.

ive heard that before, the sort of a neofeminism view that by acting risque is empowering, using mans base desires for women's gains. its definitely been on the upswing the past couple of decades or so, and there have been much written about it. how effective it is remains to be seen though, as it seems that giving in to what a man wants really accomplishes anything in the end.
Do you really think that these MySpace girls are necessarily looking for a long-term relationship in the first place?
oh obviously not, i was never making that case.
Sadly, I get the impression that a large part of their self-worth is measured in terms of how many drooling boys they have lusting after them at any given time.
i know a few girls like that too unfortunately.
I think there's a balance here. I **DO** believe that it is empowering to women and girls to be sex-positive and confident about their sexuality. I also think the idea that women cannot separate emotion from sex - that we are unable to have casual sex and not be hurt by it - is sexist. And even in 2006, when a woman is upfront and open about enjoying sex and maybe having sexual relationships that are primarily or mostly about the sex, we are often called sluts or attention whores.

The Quiet One - John Entwistle
Everybody calls me the quiet one
You can see but you can't hear me
Everybody calls me the quiet one
You can try but you can't get near me
I ain't never had the gift of gab
But I can't talk with my eyes
When words fail me you won't nail me
My eyes can tell you lies
Still waters run deep so be careful I don't drown you
You've got nothing to hear I've got nothing to say
Sticks and stones may break your bones
But names can never down you
It only takes two words to blow you away
Everybody calls me the quiet one
But you just don't understand
You can't listen you won't hear me
With your head stuck in the sand
I ain't never had time for words that don't rhyme
My headd is in a cloud
I ain't quiet - everybody else is too loud
Still waters run deep so be careful I don't drown you
You've got nothing to hear I've got nothing to say
Sticks and stones may break my bones

Most definitely there are other options out there. I've just been amazed over watching Moms ask their 18 month olds "Do you like this? Are you going to wear this?"
At 18 months, I don't really think you're going to get a concrete answer.
By preteen, I can definitely see there should be some compromises in what the child likes versus what the parent is comfortable having them wear.
I'm old school and the choices of clothing that I carry in the store reflect that- I've do have progressive designs, as well. But, in the progressive lines, I choose clothing that is fun to wear and "with-it" without putting everything on show.

I am not a parent so I will try to tread lightly. But I wonder if there aren't parents who secretly approve of their children expressing their sexuality too freely. Out of a longing to recapture the lost opportunities of their youth. I once knew a girl whose mother bought her liquor while she was still underage and even got her a fake ID. It seems to me that society deprecates and yet quietly condones the early maturation of youth, because people have been programmed to believe that their life should have taken a certain course rather than winding thru the natural developmental process unique for every individual.
One of the myths of our culture, just to go way out on a limb here, is what I call the Myth of Wise Youth. Many of us regret our early awkward adolescence and the lost promises of a wild and crazy youth. So we look back and imagine what could have been if only we had seen the light when we were younger. Television and the movies are full of young people who have it all together. "I wish that I knew what I know now when I was younger." A myth with the potential for harm if unrecognized and projected onto ones progeny.

In a perfect world...if it didn't sell it wouldn't be made in the first place.
I've noticed that children are larger sized for their ages...not necessarially overweight...just larger. So, after your daughter is past a size 6x the choices are more junior fashion inspired.
Many of my Moms seem to appreciate to finding clothes that aren't too progressive for the age of the child.
It's a difficult fence to straddle to keep the child and parent both happy- but, I like a good challenge.

"Evie and Tracy's dangerous and self-destructive flowering at 13 years old has, in its way, an extraordinary sort of energy and creativity, quite different from the licensed accomplishments of schoolwork.

i see what you are saying. its sort of like the parents who push their kids, academically or athletically, too hard. the need to fill their lives with so many activities instead of just letting them be kids. i saw a article in some weekly magazine somewhere about how now that its summer so many parents are trying to fill their kids schedules with summer camps and projects. her point was just let kids be kids. play outside, goof off, all that.
as for society condoning growing up too fast, i think that since its usually teenagers who have the most disposible income it makes sense for companies to want this sort of sped up development. the sooner that teenagers have jobs the sooner they will buy their products. and lord knows that with teenagers having to deal with hormonal urges, its only natural to sexualize just about every product. at least that what the company thinking seems to be apparently.

One of the most fascinating examples of the "holy shit, has it really come to this?" mentality is the t.v. show Elimidate, which I find tremendously entertaining. (well, yeah, obviously.) You get a dose of typical male fantasy (four girls competing over one guy), but what the hapless guy doesn't grasp is the fact that the four girls' goal is to WIN. They could care less about "dating" the guy. They just want to prove that they're the Alpha Female. 95% of the time, the girl who "wins" isn't even the most attractive, but the one who acts/dresses the sluttiest/is willing to give the guy a lap dance on the couch of some skanky Red Iguana-type club. Then you get the cut scene of the one "modest" girl who is utterly outraged at how shamelessly flirtatious the other three are - as if she thought, going in, that her ability to discuss the finer points of The Brothers Karamazov (or even, for that matter, the Boston Red Sox) was going to hold water.
