so say the folks at Portfolio.com, which ranks Knox at number 83 -- the least fun city in the country is Provo, Utah.

WVLT has the story ...

Knoxville received high marks for shopping and cultural attractions, but failed in the categories of high impact sports, popular entertainment and food and drink.

So, we're the 17th "least fun" city; or if you are one of these guys who sees the fullness of the comically wielded seltzer bottle, we're the "83rd most funnest" city.

I'm gonna go on with whatever I was doing before I read this.

or maybe the headline should be Knoxville In Top 100 Fun Cities.

Most everyone I know who lives in Knoxville has way more fun than I do ... 'course I live in a 'painfully depressing city', so many people has more fun than I do.

And for "high impact sports," they surely need to be introduced to "gravel road pallet skiing."

KO does it on paved roads without the pallet. He's figured out how to make bicycling a high-impact sport.
