I could Google this info, and after perhaps five minutes, know what I need to do.

Thing is, I know many of you have moved states ... and well since I moved down from up North in High School ... I never really gave much thought about changing residences out of state. I have moved many a time in TN.

But ... what do I need to do aside from change my address to getting a GA driver's license etc. to establish residency?

Keep in mind I want to do this in the cheapest way possible. I know they (GA) have an ad valorem tax. I think I have sixty days too? I don't know, you people tell me, oh great oracle of the Blab.

Make sure the post office here has a forwarding address.
get a georgia Driver license/ you'll need new tags eventually.
Get your utilities, etc. in your name at your new address.
That's about all I ever did.

Well utilities are moot since I moved into my brother's house. Driver's license coming soon. And transfer (for I think a dollar or so online) my old TN addy to my GA addy.

I already have my card, though I assume I have to get a GA voter card.

There should be a one-stop-shop to do all of this.

Not to mention my carry permit, which in GA is a concealed carry permit ... which is cheap, but takes upwards of six months to get. My TN one is up for renewal in June ... and TN and GA have reciprocity ... though just for good measure I am going to get one here, and be licensed in both states.

I will say ... I can already feel (perhaps a little psychosomatic) my sinuses and allergies changing. I will not miss the valley's problems, though I cannot imagine three hours south will change them that much. This ain't Arizona.

Should've been able to register to vote at the DMV. "Motor-voter" law requires that to be a one-stop-shop.

Well, Lane Kiffin was here over a year and never got a Tenn. driver's license. BTW, there are no dumb questions, only dumb people.
