i love following random links on youtube. to things like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXe8pyY9G80&dpos=1), which in a completely unremarkable 75 seconds packs gigantic amounts of information about our precise cultural and technological moment.

Better enjoy youtube while we have a chance because it, along with RocketBoom and some others may not be around very long (http://www.clarionledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060515/OPINION/605150317).
Of course Sony, Time/Warner, Yahoo, etc. will be glad to step up to the plate to deliver "off-beat and interesting" content.

Oh, yeah, that girl is bizarrely fascinating - she's apparently one of the most popularly viewed people on the whole site.
Youtube is like crack. A girl I know and I spend hours at a time finding music videos and clips and showing them to each other, on nights when we're both supposed to be going to bed early instead of hanging out.
...
Yeah, we never end up going to bed early anyway.
There are a ton of live Neutral Milk Hotel clips.

I am just enjoying the hell out of the vintage videos...such as TMBG and REM.
